Below are some information either not included in µBook's help manual or that may be required to get to the help manual.

Installing license file |
|
|
On handheld units, before installing the license file, you must have run µBook at least once. Run it again and make sure you go to the 'file' menu and 'Exit' µBook. Copy you license file to your /My Documents folder using your file transfer program. From your unit, start the File Explorer, go to /My Documents and select the uBook.ub1 file, µBook should start and show you name and email address. If not, do a soft reset of your unit, and using the File Explorer program, move the license file to /Program Files/uBook and start µBook. |

Start by opening a series of one or more images:
Use upper left menu to create automatic cells:
Export the created annotations and 'replay' the annotation file:
And you've got an i-Book:

Creating Skins |

Linux Wine |
|
|
Starting with 2008r2 the installer works under Linux Wine. (although the uninstaller doesn't seem to...).
µBook under Wine seem to work quite well, as it doesn't need much of windows to work anyway. |
